Morocco, 2023.

We join a classroom of students learning about drought, a natural phenomenon that has been altered by climate change, affecting agriculture in Morocco.

Worsening drought pushed farmers to seek underground water resources, resulting in further disruption to the ecosystem and availability of drinking water for local communities. The comic sees the students consider the role and responsibility of politicians to help solve such problems and the power of lobbying politicians to demand action.
